The Glasgow Daily Times is a member newspaper of NHI, Newspapers Holding Inc. which owns over 200 newspapers, mostly in the eastern United States.
The newspaper is published six days each week, Sunday-Friday, an afternoon paper Monday-Friday and on Sunday mornings. Keith Ponder is publisher and division vice president and James Brown is editor.
The Glasgow Daily Times is one of the oldest continuing businesses in Kentucky, established in 1865 as the weekly Glasgow Times. The newspaper became a daily publication in 1953.
The printing plant and offices of the various departments at the newspaper are located at 100 Commerce Drive in Glasgow.
Over the past year, the staff of the newspaper has continued its efforts in improving its core product as well as an improved Web site which can be reached at glasgowdailytimes.com. The newspaper is proud to be a part of the industrial family of Glasgow-Barren County.

Some of southcentral Kentucky’s most active leaders took a break to relax and be recognized Thursday evening at the 2009 Rising Stars Banquet at the South Central Bank Operations Center. Amy Lee, Glasgow Daily Times general manager, said the community is lucky to have so many outstanding men and women.
