Glass Paving trucks lined up early Friday morning at the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet’s maintenance garage on S. L. Rogers Wells Boulevard to be loaded with salt in preparation for the winter weather storm forecasted to hit the area by mid-morning. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contracts with Glass Paving for use of the company’s dump trucks. The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet salts state roads in the Glasgow-Barren County area.
