Dead woman found at WKU-Glasgow

GLASGOW — Western Kentucky University-Glasgow students had their Friday classes interrupted after a fellow student was found dead at the campus. Police are now investigating the death of the woman.

Glasgow police responded at about 1 p.m. to reports of a woman found dead in a first-floor bathroom at the facility. Police blocked off the area on the first floor.

Students were still in classes while the GPD waited for WKU police to arrive, and at about 2:30 p.m., the school was evacuated. All classes were cancelled for the rest of the day.
