Scott Ratterman of Louisville, center, reconnects with Steve Pedigo, left, and his son, Jeremy Pedigo, both of Cave City, on Tuesday evening after Ratterman was discharged from T.J. Samson Community Hospital. Earlier in the day, the Pedigos had freed Ratterman from underneath a van that fell on him after a jack he was using to change a tire slipped.
