Joe Heath with Stewart and Richey Construction uses a trackhoe to demolish the remains of a historic home on Leslie Avenue. The house was torn down Friday. The house was built in 1810 by Zion Huggins and was the second-oldest house in Barren County. It was the home of Frances Rootes Edwards, who died in January. The house burned on April 24. Authorities believe arson was the cause of the fire. Sam Terry, of Glasgow, was the owner of the house when it burned. Gina Kinslow / Glasgow Daily Times
