One Stop Shot

Susie Bishop, RN, left, gives Brenda Grinstead a flu shot during a clinic Friday morning at the T.J. Samson Community Hospital Resource Center. Bishop said more than 200 shots have been administered this week since supplies of the vaccinations have finally arrived. The flu shot clinic will continue until 5 p.m. Friday afternoon and will service both walk-ins and drive-ups. Both seasonal and H1N1 vaccines are now available. Scot Smith, nurse educator with T.J. Samson, said they have more than enough vaccine to meet anticipated demand. Grinstead opted to receive both vaccinations — one in each arm.
