Interstate 65 cleared, detours removed

MUNFORDVILLE — Interstate 65 has been cleared.

An early-morning wreck on I-65 had forced northbound traffic to detour off of the interstate.

A fatality wreck involving multiple commercial vehicles happened before 4:30 this morning and led to the blockage of the northbound lane, according to a press release from the Kentucky State Police. The wreck was between the 65 and 66 mile markers in Hart County near Munfordville.

All northbound lanes were closed for several hours and traffic was detoured from the interstate at the Horse Cave exit.
