Bernis Wayne Rupe, Jr., second from right, accepts final sentencing Monday afternoon in Barren Circuit Court for one Barren and one Metcalfe Circuit Court case he pleaded guilty to in December. Rupe is already serving a federal prison sentence, and the amended charges he pleaded guilty to added concurrent prison sentences. There have been several crashes at the intersection of Veterans Outer Loop and Franks Mill Road since the loop opened more than a year ago. Another crash occurred Thursday afternoon and one the first week of June resulted in the death of a Horse Cave woman. In your opinion, how can the safety of the intersection be improved?
