1210 BRAWA Oreo.jpg

Oreo, a one-year-old Beagle-Terrier mix, was one of many friendly dogs and cats that wanted to convince someone to take him home Saturday during the Barren River Animal Welfare Association's Christmas Open House. Local residents were invited to the shelter Saturday to enjoy refreshments, visit with animals, bring their own pets for photos with Santa and for some, take home a new pet.
