GLASGOW — MEETING: Glasgow-Barren County Industrial Development & Economic Authority

DATE: Friday, July 30, 2010

ACTIONS: Board members approved the minutes of the June 25, 2010, meeting and approved the budget for fiscal year July 1, 2010, through June 30, 2011.

REPORTS: IDEA Executive Director Dan Iacconi said the board will be putting together new finance and property committees. He reported a cost analysis on Highland Glen Industrial Park has been completed and talked about a marketing strategy for Highland Glen. Iacconi said he also met with Barren River Area Development District, Debbie McCarty, and with Vicki Wade on job training. Financial reports showed an ending cash balance in the capital fund budget on June 30, 2010, of $337,306 and a net income of ($51,485) in the operating budget.

CLOSED SESSION: The board went into executive session, but took no action after returning to the open meeting.
