Rockin' for a cure set for Saturday at Plaza Theatre

GLASGOW — Proceeds from a rock concert set to take place this weekend at the Plaza Theatre will benefit the American Cancer Society.

Rockin’ for a Cure, which is being sponsored by the Barren County High School Beta Club, will feature music by Colton Kise, KIC, Plain Jane, Burly Cruz and Matt Bell, as well as Jud Perkins.

Members of the BCHS Beta Club compose three Relay for Life teams, which work to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

“All of the money we raise at this event will go straight to Relay for Life of Barren County, of which both Stephanie [Esters] and I are committee members,” said Jessica Jaggers, one of the three BCHS Beta Club advisers.
