5:54 EVENING UPDATE: House fire on Roseville Road

GLASGOW — City and county fire departments were called to a house fire near the intersection of Roseville Road/Ky. 294 and Hilltopper Way on Tuesday afternoon.

Police blocked off the intersections of Trojan Trail, Hilltopper Way and Bunche Avenue and South Lewis, which caused delays on the roads.

The fire has been knocked out, according to Glasgow Fire Department chief Tony Atwood, but fire crews were still on scene as of 5:45 p.m.

The Haywood Volunteer Fire Department was the lead department on the fire.

Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Service was on scene along with the Barren County Sheriff's Office.

BCSO Detective Rusty Anderson said the fire department was still investigating the cause of the fire and no other information was available.
