8:15 a.m. Morning Update: Cave City police make arrest

GLASGOW —  

Cave City police officers received information Wednesday that Randy M. Williams, 52, of Cave City, was driving his vehicle without his insurance or driver's license.

Officers located the vehicle near the intersection of Third and Ford streets with Williams behind the wheel.

After further investigation, Williams was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence (drugs, alcohol, etc., forth offense), careless driving, failure of owner to maintain required insurance (first offense), no or expired Kentucky registration tag and operating on suspended or revoked operator's license.

Officer Wes England was the arresting officer and was assisted by Officers Terrill Riley and Danny Coomer.
