2:36 p.m. AFTERNOON UPDATE: Man arrested on drug charges

GLASGOW —

Complaints of possible drug activity at a residence on East College Street prompted the execution of a search warrant on Friday just after 1 a.m. That search netted suspected crack cocaine, boxes of razor blades, over $1,800 dollars in cash and a prescription controlled substance in a plastic bag.

Arrested at the residence was Dennis James Trigg, 54, of Glasgow, on the following charges:

first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, second or more offense – cocaine; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense – cocaine; trafficking a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a school; and third-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense – drug unspecified.

Officers Houchens and Fletcher, Colonel Duff and Sgt. Burton all participated in the search.
