CCCC director search continues

CAVE CITY — The search for a new director for the Cave City Convention Center continues this week as members of the Cave City Tourist and Convention Commission begin interviewing applicants.

“There are about six that we’re going to interview,” said Mary Lou Carey, chair of the commission’s board of directors.

The commission received 30 applications for the position, which became available after Tim Riddle resigned to take a job with the Valdosta-Lowndes County Conference Center and Tourism Authority in Valdosta, Ga. in late June. The deadline for submitting applications for the job was July 31.
