Hart County deputies find meth lab

Hart County sheriff’s deputies arrested two people after finding an active methamphetamine lab in a residence on Die-Shiboley Church Road on Sunday.

Deputies responded to the home after receiving a complaint of drug activity at 1979 Die-Shiboley Church Road, where they found Michael A. Reynolds, 24, and his wife, Melissa Reynolds, 28.

The Reynolds are both charged with first-degree manufacturing methamphetamine, first degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Michael Reynolds was also arrested on bench warrants from Hart County and Warren County.

They are both being held in the Hart County Jail on $100,000 cash bond.

Hart County deputies, Horse Cave and Kentucky State Police Drug Enforcement/Special Investigations West police officers responded to clean up the meth lab.

Guess accused of

multiple charges

Glasgow Police took a man into custody after receiving a reckless driver complaint on Embark Court early Saturday morning.

An officer located a vehicle being driven by Timothy R. Guess, 22, 1113 Matthews Mille Road, Glasgow. The officer saw numerous black marks in the roadway and tire marks in the yard, according to the GPD report.

Guess allegedly admitted that he had driven in the yard, according to the report.

Guess allegedly smelled of alcohol. He did not cooperate with field sobriety tests, according to the report.

At the Barren County Correction Center, Guess’ breath was tested and registered a .176 blood alcohol content and a bag of marijuana was found in his back pocket, according to the report.

Guess was charged with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence second offense within five years, reckless driving, license to be in possession and first-degree promoting contraband. He remains in custody at the correction center on $2,500 bond.
