CAVE CITY —

Cave City police are looking for a suspect in an armed robbery case.

Police were summonsed to El Patron restaurant on Mammoth Cave Street at 9:50 p.m. on Friday where an armed robbery had allegedly occurred in the parking lot.

The robbery victim, who was not identified by Cave City police, told police officers a black man wanted to sell him three cartons of cigarettes for $20. The cigarettes were in his car in the restaurant parking lot, according to a Cave City Police Department press release.

Once they were in the parking lot, the suspect told the victim to give him all of his money or he would shoot him. The suspect appeared to have a gun in his pocket, the press release stated.
