One injured in crash

GLASGOW — Saturday afternoon, the Glasgow Fire Department and the Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Service responded to a crash on West Main Street, directly in front of Walgreens.

According to the collision report by the Glasgow Police Department, David W. Taylor, 44, of 977 Winn School Road in Glasgow, was leaving the parking lot of Walgreens in his 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee as Roy Chapman, 40, of 326 Big Branch in Glasgow was traveling down West Main Street. Taylor’s vehicle hit Chapman’s passenger side door causing severe damage to his 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier.

Taylor was not injured in the wreck, but Chapman and James Daugherty, the passenger in Chapman’s car was treated and released from T.J. Samson Community Hospital.
