A Glasgow man was arrested after causing damage to a median on the square and riding with suspected drugs in the passenger seat.
Landon C. Thomas, 18, of Tanglewood Drive in Glasgow, was stopped Thursday morning after Glasgow police received a complaint of a reckless driver going around the square, according to a release by the Glasgow Police Department.
The caller said a blue Honda, later identified to be the one Thomas was driving, had gone over a median and caused damage to it, the release stated.
When Officer Justin Kirkpatrick made contact with Thomas, at the corner of East Cherry Street and Columbia Avenue, a small baggie of suspected marijuana was lying in plain view on the passenger seat. Digital scales and a marijuana pipe were also on the seat.
Blood and urine samples were taken and were still pending at the time of the report.
Thomas was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center, where he remains on $500 cash bond.
