GLASGOW —
Barren County High School student Mattie Bruton won first place in the composition category of the academic team state Governor's Cup competition in Louisville this weekend.
More competition results will be reported as they are available.
Students from Barren County High School, Glasgow High School, Glasgow Middle School, Barren County Middle School and Monroe County Middle School qualified and competed in the state competition.
