GLASGOW — Two people were arrested and charged with driving under the influence in two separate crashes Monday.
Timmy J. McClellan, 45, of Glasgow, was arrested after his 1994 Ford Ranger struck a pickup truck head-on on Big Meadow Road.
McClellan lost control on the icy roadway before he struck the Dodge Ram of Scott D. Walden, 21, of Knob Lick.
Walden was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital by private means, treated and released. McClellan was also treated and released from the hospital, and was then arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs second offense (aggravated) and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment. He is being held at the Barren County jail on unspecified bond.
Also arrested was Heather R. Goodall, 24, of Lafayette, Tenn., who was traveling east on Burkesville Road in her 2004 Dodge Stratus. She lost control of her vehicle before it struck a tree. Barren County sheriff’s deputies, East Barren Volunteer Fire Department and Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Service responded. After refusing medical transport, she was arrested and charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense (aggravated) and failure to produce an insurance card. She is being held in the Barren County Correction Center on $500 bond.
