DATE: Feb. 1, 2010
ACTION: Commissioners took the following action: Approved minutes, financial report, profit and loss report for first half of the fiscal year; agreed to buy playground equipment for Bell’s Tavern Park if insurance is affordable; agreed to accept new Lions Club rental agreement; agreed to require property owners to purchase tile and gravel for driveways and the city to pay for the installation; agreed to refer the development of a pet cemetery to the cemetery committee for further discussion; and approved accounts payable.
ITEMS TABLED: Action on the following items of business were tabled: Lions Club parking lot; emergency shelter; maintenance work to paint fire hydrants and to mark off a handicapped parking space in front of city hall; and Santa suit.
REPORTS: Commissioners heard the following reports: Police, fire, planning and zoning, Caveland Environmental Authority, maintenance, code enforcement and mayor reports.
