Madison-Smith owner responds to questions about sale

GLASGOW — Madison-Smith owner Dale Smith responds to the company’s recent purchase by Chicago equity firm, Industrial Service Solutions.

“The company will remain Madison-Smith Machine & Tool Company, and we will remain in the same facility on Highway 90 in Glasgow,” Dale Smith said in a press release. “In the months and years ahead, customers will notice Madison-Smith evolving to become better positioned to serve industry as we integrate into the family of ISS-owned companies.”

Madison-Smith General Manager Mike Darnell described the sale as a “logical step” in a telephone interview Thursday.
