A Louisville woman was arrested for shoplifting by Hart County Deputy Sheriff Lanny Jewell on Saturday for a crime committed at Smith's BP in Munfordville.
Theresa A. Cox, 46, of 5603 Hasbrook Dr., Louisville, was charged and arrested for theft by unlawful taking under $500 (shoplifting), according to a Hart County Sheriff's Office report.
Jewell also executed a bench warrant for theft by unlawful taking under $500 (shoplifting) out of Bullitt County, the report stated.
Jewell made the arrest after stopping a suspect vehicle in the Munfordville city limits on U.S. 31W.
Also arrested was Jack A. Faulkner, 49, of 5303 Regent Way, Louisville, for driving on a suspended operator's license.
Cox and Faulkner were lodged in the Hart County Jail, the report stated.
Both were released Monday. Faulkner was released on a $500 cash bond after entering a guilty plea Monday in Hart District Court. Cox also entered a guilty plea Monday in Hart District Court and was released after paying a $500 cash bond, according to information from the Hart County District Court Clerk's office.
