GLASGOW —

A few more candidates have filed for seats on the Cave City City Council and the Park City City Commission.

Seeking a seat on the Cave City City Council are incumbents Buddy Wilshire, Gary Hogan, Mike Houchens, Denny Doyle and Seaborn Ellzey. The council has six seats available, according to Joanne London, county clerk for Barren County.

Also seeking a seat on the council are James Wesley Pedigo, Gary Minor and former councilwoman Carol Ford, London said.

The only candidate seeking the Cave City mayor seat is former councilman Dwayne Hatcher.

Those seeking a seat on the Park City City Commission are: Emma Boards, Melody Ray, Vonn Parsley, Leon Higginbotham and Christopher Villa. The commission has four seats available, London said.

Parsley and Ray are the only incumbent seeking reelection.

Boards and Higginbotham have served on the commission in the past, according to Park City officials.
