1:15 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Arrest made in hospital bomb threat

GLASGOW —

Glasgow Police have made an arrest in connection to the bomb threat at TJ Samson Hospital that took placeFriday

Hannah R. Sparks, 22, of Bee Spring, originally told authorities she found a note written on a wall in a restroom at the hospital that stated a bomb was going to explode at noon. Further investigation of the incident and questioning of Sparks, by Colonel James Duff and Officer Damon Fletcher led to her confession that she had written the note.

Sparks was arrested on a warrant issued by the County Attorney for a charge of terroristic threatening, first degree. She was lodged in Barren County Detention Center.

Criminal Investigation detectives Sgt. Jennifer Arbogast and Lt. Jimmy Phelps initiated the investigation at the scene.
