12:30 AFTERNOON UPDATE: Second arrest made in robbery

GLASGOW —

A second arrest has been made in connection with the robbery a convenience store south of Glasgow.

Michael Shannon, 25, of South Fork Road, was arrested Monday and charged with complicity to robbery, second degree. Shannon was the employee on duty at the store on Dec. 1 when the robbery occurred, according to a release from the Glasgow Police Department.

He was lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and was released the same day, according to the jail website.

This case was investigated by GPD Sgt. Jennifer Arbogast.

Joshua Shane Gonzalez, 27, of Austin, was arrested last week in connection with the robbery. He was charged with tampering with physical evidence and robbery, second degree.
