MUNFORDVILLE — A Bonnieville man was arrested by Kentucky State Police Thursday night after being pulled over for reckless driving on Campground Road.
Richard Cox, 23, was pulled over and subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and reckless driving. A search of the vehicle yielded methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Cox was arrested and charged with first-degree driving under the influence, reckless driving, first-degree possession of a controlled substance drug unspecified, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with physical evidence.
He was lodged in the Hart County Jail.
Trooper Daniel White is investigating and was assisted at the scene by Trooper Jeremy Smith and Munfordville Police Officer Derek Murphy.

Kentucky State Police Post 3 Commander, Captain Phil Crumpton, reported the following activity for the month of July.
Troopers and Detectives issued a total of 1,828 citations, of which 572 were for speeding and six for no child restraint. Troopers issued 211 citations for no seat belts. Fifty-eight people were arrested for driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Troopers issued 604 courtesy notices, investigated 100 wrecks, three of which were fatal, assisted 227 motorists and inspected 2,864 vehicles.
They investigated 1,112 complaints, opened 83 criminal cases and made 300 criminal arrests.
Troopers also worked 705 special details and programs in July.
The nine communications officers at Post 3 received and placed a total of 13,772 requests.
