3 men arrested on drug trafficking charges

ELIZABETHTOWN — Three men were arrested on drug charges after being seen at an Elizabethtown store attempting to buy the ingredients for a methamphetamine lab.

Richard Brandon Tyler Cox, 26, of Munfordville; Allen Wade Henderson, 31, of Sonora; and Harry L. Jones, 50, of Radcliff, were arrested by the Greater Hardin County Drug Task Force, according to a Hart County Sheriff’s Office release. The HCSO is a member of the task force.

Investigators were at Walmart in Elizabethtown following up on a previous complaint when they observed shoppers allegedly attempting to buy materials “consistent with manufacturing methamphetamine,” the release stated.

Two male shoppers split up, with one purchasing lithium batteries and the other attempting to purchase pseudoephedrine, both of which are typically used in the creation of  “shake and bake” one-dose meth lab.
