GLASGOW — A Glasgow woman was arrested Monday after attacking and threatening officers from the Glasgow Police Department.
Robin Leech Burton, 19, 200 N. Franklin, Apt. C, Glasgow, was charged with three counts of third-degree assault and one count of third-degree terroristic threatening at 10:53 p.m. Monday at her home.
Police came to Burton’s residence because of a complaint of a possible overdose. When officers arrived Burton was lying face down on the floor, according to a GPD report.
When officers came into contact with Burton she became aggressive, according to the report.
Burton is accused of smacking Officer Brian Wise in the face and chest and kicking and spitting on Detective Jimmy Phelps, according to the report. She also allegedly threatened to kill both officers.
Pepper spray was used to control Burton, according to the report.
Burton is currently in the Barren County Correction Center without bond.
