GLASGOW — At approximately noon Tuesday, a bomb threat to Barren County Middle School was discovered in the building. This is an unsubstantiated threat, according to a press release from Barren County school officials.

As with any situation, our students' safety is always foremost. All students and personnel have currently been evacuated to the Barren County High School.

School and law officials are onsite following all safety protocol. We anticipate a subsequent move back to BCMS when all has been cleared. We also anticipate a normal afternoon release, the press release stated.
