Wag time event will help shelter animals

GLASGOW — A local organization that strives to

find homes for dogs and cats will benefit

from an event that will take place

Friday in downtown Glasgow.

The event is Cocktails for Tails — a

fundraiser for the Barren River Animal

Welfare Association.

BRAWA is the organization that

oversees management of the Glasgow-

Barren County Animal Shelter on Trojan

Trail. The event is from 5 to 8 p.m.

at Stellar House at the intersection of

North Race and West Main streets.
