Man allegedly gives drugs to teens

GLASGOW — A Glasgow man was arrested over the weekend on drug and other charges after allegedly allowing underage teens to drink alcohol and smoke marijuana at his residence, according to officials with the Glasgow Police Department.

Daniel R. Auyer, 39, of 105 East Cherry St., Glasgow, was charged with possession of marijuana and unlawful transaction with a minor.

Police responded to Auyer’s residence sometime around 1 a.m. on Sunday in reference to a complaint from a woman who said she picked up a juvenile and the teenager claimed Auyer was providing marijuana and alcohol for several juveniles at his home.

When authorities arrived, Auyer was in a vehicle pulling into the driveway. Inside the residence were two female juveniles and an 18-year-old female, police said. The house smelled of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was found in plain sight at the residence, according to investigators.

Auyer was placed under arrest and lodged in the Barren County Corrections Center.
