Magistrates were informed that a representative from the Kentucky Division of Forestry has looked at the trees around the courthouse and marked the ones he would like an arborist to look at to see if they can be saved. Some of the trees were damaged by a recent storm. Magistrates were also informed that Industrial Drive, which was once a county road, will now be a state secondary road.
PUBLIC HEARING: A public hearing was held for magistrates to hear comments regarding the county’s receipt of County Road Aid and LGEA funds. No comments were received. The county is to receive $787,000, which will be used to make improvements along county roads.
