GLASGOW — Several arrests have been made in connection with a string of burglaries in Cave City.
Monica N. Morgan, 27, was charged with two counts of complicity to burglary, third degree, and two counts of complicity to theft by unlawful taking over $300; Chastiey E. Abston, 35, was charged with complicity to burglarly, third degree, complicity to theft by unlawful taking over $300, third-degree burglary, first-degree burglary and two counts of theft by unlawful taking over $300; Jonathan Childress, 18, and a juvenile were charged with first-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree burglary and three counts of theft by unlawful taking over $300.
All suspects are from Cave City.
The charges stem from an April 27 burglary at the Cave City Dairy Queen, a May 7 burglary of a residence on North Second Street and a May 15 burglary of Wide and Wonderful Gifts on Mammoth Cave Road, according to the Cave City Police Department.
The arrests came following a joint investigation by the CCPD, the Kentucky State Police and the Barren-Edmonson County Drug Task Force.
More arrests are expected as the investigation continues.
