GLASGOW — An anonymous tip led to the arrest of a Barren County man on several drug charges.
Deputies with the Barren County Sheriff’s Department, along with the Barren-Edmonson County Drug Task Force, responded to 505 Tick Ridge Road in reference to a complaint of possible drug activity.
Michael Edward Andrews, 29, who lives at the residence, gave deputies consent to search the home. Authorities allege they found a large amount of marijuana, an assortment of pills, cocaine and drug paraphernalia.
Andrews was charged with trafficking in marijuana under eight ounces, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia and third-degree possession of a controlled substance.
He was lodged in the Barren County Correctional Center.
