4-year-old injured

Staff Report

A four-year-old Amish child was injured in an accident Monday afternoon in a field off Hwy. 1297, according to members of the South Barren Volunteer Fire Department.

The boy was transported by Life Net to Kosiar Children’s Hospital in Louisville. He was listed in critical condition Tuesday morning. Also at the scene were Barren-Metcalfe EMS and the Kentucky State Police.

No other information was available.
