Trial delayed in shooting

GLASGOW — The trial date for a Glasgow man charged in a November shooting has been pushed back.

Donald E. Harp, 49, was originally set to go before a jury on Aug. 28. Attorneys on both sides wanted to continue discussion, so a status hearing was set for Sept. 15.

Harp is charged with burglary and assault, both first degree, wanton endangerment and two counts of third-degree terroristic threatening, according to the court docket.

The charges stem from a Nov. 25 incident, where Harp allegedly entered an East Washington Street residence and shot Terry Gene Huddleston, also of Glasgow, multiple times following an altercation.
