ACTION: Magistrates took the following action: approved minutes of the Aug. 7 meeting; approved claims; approved county treasurer’s report; approved an agreement with Tichenor and Associates to evaluate the jail; approved the Kentucky Employee Health Insurance to be made retroactive for January 2008; approved to pay county clerk’s claim for motor vehicle and boat bills for 2008; adopted a resolution to proceed with Mammoth Cave Rural and Community Development Council grant for the Frenchman’s Knob project in Bonnieville; agreed to transfer a 1990 Dodge van from the jail to the solid waste department; adopted a Kentucky County Judge-Executives’ Association resolution to pursue litigation against the state; approve a bond for Judge-Executive Terry Martin and to make it retroactive to April 2008; and approve magistrate’s road project request list.
