GLASGOW — The Barren County Sheriff’s Department has identified a man who died in an accident on Bon Ayr Road.
Glen D. Kendrick, 39, of the Bon Ayr community, was found in his 2006 Dodge pickup truck Wednesday shortly after 7 a.m.
Kendrick had been traveling north on Bon Ayr Road when his truck dropped off the right side of the roadway. The truck traveled back across the road, overturning several times in a cornfield before coming to rest on its roof.
Barren County Coroner Mike Swift pronounced Kendrick dead at the scene from possible head injuries.
According to the sheriff’s report, Kendrick was not wearing a seat belt and alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
Deputy Steve Runyon investigated and was assisted by Swift, the Barren-Metcalfe EMS and South Barren VFD.
