Two arrested for making meth

GLASGOW — Two Bonnieville residents were arrested Wednesday for manufacturing methamphetamine.

Jeremy Scott Smith, 36, and Lori D. Smith, 33, of 371 Priceville Road, were charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, knowingly possessing anhydrous ammonia with the intent to manufacture and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Hart County Sheriff’s Department.

Authorities responded to the residence in reference to a complaint of drug activity. The subjects were both lodged in the Hart County Jail. Jeremy Smith is being held in lieu of a $200,000 cash bond, while Lori Smith was being held in lieu of $50,000 cash or property bond.

Hart County Sheriff Boston Hensley, deputies Jeff Wilson and Lanny Jewell, the Hardin County Drug Task Force and an ATF agent were involved.
