GLASGOW — A 21-year-old Glasgow woman was arrested Sunday night after leading authorities on a pursuit by truck and foot.
Tiffany Bowles was arrested Sunday night after a pursuit that began in the county and ended within the city limits.
According to a Barren County Sheriff’s Department release, the department received a call that a person had borrowed a truck and not returned it to the owner.
Deputy Bobby McCown contacted Bowles via telephone and advised her that the owner would not press charges if she returned the truck immediately but Bowles did not comply.
McCown tracked the truck to Ky. 63 and attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but Bowles did not comply.
The pursuit led from Lenna Drive to East Main Street, on to Humble Street, Bryan Street, Simmons Street, Frazier Street and ended on Salmon Street where Bowles stopped the truck, but then ran on foot back to Bryan Street.
After a short altercation, Bowles was taken into custody and arrested on charges of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, fleeing/evading police first degree, disregarding a stop sign and resisting arrest.
