EDMONTON — ACTION: Council members approved the minutes of their Nov. 3 regular monthly meeting; approved minutes of their Nov. 12 special-called meeting; approved minutes of their Nov. 13 special-called meeting; approved on second reading an ordinance prohibiting road blocks in the city of Edmonton.
DISCUSSION: Council members discussed changing water, sewer and gas tap on fees and asked city attorney to draft an ordinance regarding the change in the fees. They also discussed what to do about a dilapidated house on High Street.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Mayor Howard Garrett reminded council of the recycling program at Edmonton Elementary and that the Barren River Area Development District will be hosting a training for the planning commission on Jan. 12 from 4-8 p.m. at the Metcalfe County Cooperative Extension Office. He also reminded council members of the city’s Christmas parade, which is set for Saturday, Dec. 13 at 1 p.m.
