IN MINUTES: Caverna Board of Education

MUNFORDVILLE — REPORTS: Terry Thorpe was recognized for receiving the National Board Certificate. Superintendent Sam Dick reported the board will accept the resignation of board member Ken Russell, the audit by Campbell, Myers and Rutledge was given a clean opinion and the board will start having meetings to discuss the facilities plan.

ACTIONS: The board approved fundraiser requests, a BG-1 in the amount of $226,100 for the installation of partition walls in an open space area of Caverna Elementary, four local board hours for Marla Wilson, the 2009-10 out-of-district contracts for non-resident pupils, RBS Design for the elementary renovation and a rate of $50 per hour for services for students with visual impairments.
