Glasgow man dies in Logan County wreck
A single-vehicle accident in Logan County claimed the life of a Glasgow man late Sunday night.
According to the Kentucky State Police, Branden G. Huff, 22, of Glasgow, was traveling on Concord Road in a 2004 Chevy pick-up truck, trying to flee Logan County Sheriff’s deputies.
The deputies lost contact with the vehicle as it fled.
After deputies lost the vehicle, Huff traveled down Concord Road where his car ran through the end of the roadway, going through two fences and overturning. He was ejected from the vehicle, according to state police.
Huff was transported to Logan Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
He was not wearing a seat belt, according to state police.
Kentucky State Trooper John Holbrook investigated and was assisted by trooper Matt Cardwell, the Logan County Sheriff’s Department and Logan County Ambulance Service.
Cave City police arrest Horse Cave man
A Horse Cave man was arrested around 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Christoper Green, 31, was arrested by Cave City Police Officer Wes England for charges of alcohol intoxication in a public place, third offense; terroristic threatening, third offense; disorderly conduct, second offense and a circuit court warrant for probation violation was served.
Green was lodged in the Barren County Correction Center.
