EDMONTON — MEETING: Metcalfe Fiscal Court
DATE: March 10, 2009
ACTION: Magistrates took the following action: approved County Court Clerk Carol England’s 2008 settlement in the amount of $73,785.98 and to reserve $20,000 of that amount for the election fund and to allow England to keep $20,000 for operating expenses due to a smaller number of people licensing cars during the economic downturn compared to previous years; approved the jailer’s 2008 budget at a total of $212,500 approved a $400 contribution to the National Association of Counties; approved monthly financial statement; approved budget and interfund transfers; approved claims; accepted a $7,900 grant from Kentucky Emergency Management to fund the purchase of a tower light for the Metcalfe County Search and Rescue Squad; and agreed to maintain Trinity Lane in the Summer Shade community from Ky. 90 east to the cemetery gate.
ITEMS TABLED: Action regarding the bathroom facility located on the courthouse lawn.
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Judge-Executive Greg Wilson announced a pre-bid conference on the clean-up of illegal dumps for March 16 at 9 a.m.
