A Barren County man was arrested Friday afternoon following a domestic dispute at a home in the Lucas community.
Danny Ray Clark, 59, of 308 Lucas Road., became agitated when his wife began moving personal items out of the residence, according to Barren County Sheriff’s Deputy Steve Runyon.
Clark retrieved two guns, a 9mm pistol and a .25 caliber handgun, and fired four rounds into a tanning bed with the 9mm while bystanders were in the vicinity. The incident occurred a half-mile off U.S. 31E south approximately seven miles south of Glasgow.
Clark was taken into custody shortly after law enforcement arrived on the scene and charged with eight counts of first - degree wanton endangerment. He was lodged in the Barren County Correction Center. No bond has been set.
Deputies Bobby McCown, Kevin Wilson and Shannon White, Detective Rusty Anderson with the sheriff’s department and troopers from the Kentucky State Police also responded to the scene.
