Preliminary autopsy reports revealed that a 12-year-old Hart County boy died Thursday by drowning in a swimming pool.

Cody Allen Barr, of Horse Cave, was pronounced dead in the emergency room of Caverna Memorial Hospital, said Jeff Roten, Hart County coroner. CPR was administered to the child before he was taken to the hospital, but he could not be revived, he said.
