GLASGOW — MEETING: Glasgow-Barren County Industrial Development & Economic Authority
DATE: June 26, 2009
ACTIONS: Members of the IDEA board took the following actions: approved the minutes of the May 22, meeting and approved financial statements. The finance committee, consisting of Don Doty, Dan Iacconi, Charlie Campbell, Owen Lambert and Jon Walbert, prepared and presented the 2009-10 budget, which the board approved.
REPORTS: The board heard reports from the Finance, Property and Administrative committees. The executive director’s report included an update on Sitel and the speculative building in Highland Glen Industrial Park, a site consultant’s survey and an update of the IDEA Web site. Don Doty told the board a new Sitel site director has been named – Frank Miller of Milwaukee, Wis., will be taking his position here soon. The spec building is complete, he also reported. Doty attended a site consultant’s survey in Bowling Green recently during which representatives took a helicopter a tour of the area.
EXECUTIVE SESSION: The board went into executive session to discuss property and personnel issues. No action was taken when they came out of closed session.
