4:06 AFTERNOON UPDATE: 1 transported in 3-vehicle wreck

GLASGOW — One person was taken away by ambulance after a three-vehicle wreck on West Main Street Monday afternoon.

A silver Dodge Neon, white Nissan Maxima and a red Chevrolet pick-up truck collided in front of BR Retreading shortly after 3:30 p.m. The driver of the Dodge Neon was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital by Barren-Metcalfe Emergency Medical Services. The driver of the Nissan refused transport.

Along with Barren-Metcalfe EMS, the Glasgow Fire Department and Glasgow Police Department responded to the scene. More information will be published as it is available.
